A California judge has approved a request by Tesla CEO Elon Musk's adult daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson to change her name and gender on her birth certificate.

Vivian, 18, says she no longer lives with or wishes to be associated with her father. She officially adopted her mother Justine's maiden name at the age of 18.

This news comes after Vivian reportedly tried to hide her true gender identity from her father for several years.
