Edmonton Oilers Not Ready to Be Swept in Stanley Cup Final

McDavid Leads Oilers' Charge in Game 3 Victory

Panthers Strike First, Oilers Battle Back

The Edmonton Oilers are refusing to go down without a fight in the Stanley Cup Final. Facing the possibility of getting swept by the Florida Panthers, the Oilers rallied for a 4-3 victory in Game 3 on Saturday night.

Connor McDavid, who had been held scoreless in the first two games of the series, exploded with a four-point night, including a goal and three assists. The Oilers' captain led the way as Edmonton forced the Panthers into a Game 4 on Monday night.

The Panthers had taken an early lead in the series, winning the first two games at home. However, the Oilers proved to be a resilient opponent, battling back to earn the win in Game 3.

The Oilers' defensemen, Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci, were on the ice for the Panthers' first two goals. However, they rebounded in the third period, helping to limit the Panthers to just one shot on goal.

Evan Rodrigues had two goals in the third period for the Panthers, while Niko Mikkola and Aaron Ekblad also scored. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the Oilers' offensive outburst.

The Oilers now have a chance to tie the series in Game 4 on Monday night. Puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m. ET at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
