Aryna SiarhiejeĊ­na Sabalenka was born on May 5, 1998, in Minsk, Belarus. She began playing tennis at the age of six and quickly showed a talent for the sport. In 2015, she won the junior girls' singles title at the Wimbledon Championships, becoming the first Belarusian to do so.
